PROMPTMODE

Terms of Use & Disclaimer

Last updated: June 5, 2026

PromptMode gives you ready-to-use prompts for AI assistants and a companion book. It is a tool for getting better results from AI — it is not a substitute for a doctor, lawyer, accountant, financial advisor, or any other professional. Please read these terms before you buy or use it. By using PromptMode, you agree to them.

1. Information only — not professional advice

PromptMode and everything it produces is for general information and educational purposes only. It does not provide medical, legal, financial, tax, mental-health, or other professional advice, and using it does not create any professional-client relationship. Always confirm important decisions with a qualified professional who knows your specific situation.

In an emergency, do not rely on this app or on AI. Call your local emergency number (911 in the US) or go to the nearest emergency room. In the US, you can reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988. For a possible poisoning, contact Poison Control (1-800-222-1222 in the US).

2. AI can be wrong — verify before you act

PromptMode helps you ask AI tools better questions, but the answers come from those AI tools, not from us. AI can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or confidently wrong. You are responsible for checking any answer before you rely on it, especially anything involving your health, money, legal rights, safety, or another person. Do not treat AI output as a final answer.

3. Third-party AI services

PromptMode is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), Microsoft (Copilot), Perplexity, or any other AI provider. Those names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used only to tell you which tool a prompt works with. When you paste a prompt into one of those services, your use of that service is governed by its terms and privacy policy, not ours.

4. Your privacy and your information

The PromptMode app runs in your own browser. Anything you type into the app's fields stays on your device unless you choose to send it somewhere (for example, by pasting it into an AI tool). We do not ask for or want your sensitive information.

Please never enter passwords, full account numbers, your Social Security number, or other people's private information into the app or into any AI tool. Several prompts remind you of this. Once you paste something into a third-party AI, that company may store and process it under its own policies.

5. What you're allowed to do (license)

When you buy or access PromptMode, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the prompts, the app, and the book for your own personal use. The prompts, written content, book, app, name, and design are protected by copyright and remain the property of William Farrar (“PromptMode”). You may not resell, redistribute, republish, sublicense, or share your copy or your account access with others, and you may not present the prompts as your own product. Using the prompts in your own everyday life and work is exactly what they're for.

6. No warranty

PromptMode is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or that results will meet your expectations. We do not guarantee any specific outcome — financial, health, career, legal, or otherwise.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, William Farrar will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any decision you make or action you take based on PromptMode or on AI output. To the extent any liability is found, it will not exceed the amount you paid for PromptMode. Some places don't allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

8. Refunds

We stand behind PromptMode with a 7-day money-back guarantee. If it isn’t right for you, email us within 7 days of your purchase and we’ll refund you in full — no hassle.

9. Changes

We add and improve prompts over time, and we may update the app, the book, or these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use PromptMode after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
